The academic regulations and procedures in this catalog apply to all students in the Health Sciences programs. Exceptions are noted where applicable. Policies and Regulations that are specific to a school or degree program are listed on either the school or program page in this Catalog.

Registration and Academic Records

Completion of registration (enrollment of coursework), in accordance with instructions issued by the University Registrar, is a prerequisite to class attendance. Registration for all students is conducted each term by the University’s online student system, SOLAR. Advance registration generally begins in early November for the winter and spring terms, and in late March/early April for summer and fall. Students are able to add & drop classes according to the dates on the academic calendar. Students who are not enrolled in a course prior to day one of classes will incur a late registration fee. In exceptional circumstances, students may request a late petition to enroll in coursework after the dates specified on the academic calendar. If the petition is approved by the academic department and dean of the school, late registration fees will be processed according to procedures implemented by the Student Financial Services office. All approved Late Add petitions will incur a $20 petition fee which will be posted to your account.
